Educational Psychology Resources
Educational Psychology is the study of how people learn given certain educational settings. It can encompass a variety of psychological, motivational, and aspirational topics relating to altering your ability to learn and your interest in learning. Other topics in educational psychology include the success of various learning and reading programs. The majority of Educational Psychologists choose to study a specific niche within psychology, such as gifted children or certain learning disabilities. By studying a special education reading program, educational psychologists are able to determine how successful the program is with children as well as the degrees of success.
Educational Psychology may also refer to the psychology behind people's motivation and interest in learning. This could include children's interest in learning to read as well as older students' and adults' interest in taking advantage of their education.
